1 January 2023: Beginning of Captain Corelli Adaptation journey

I had been wanting to go beyond my paintings to create an illustrated story for a long time. I imagined different possible scenarios without finding the right idea and it was at the beginning of 2023 that the idea came to me to adapt Louis de Bernières' bestseller. As I love Kefalonia, I knew the book well and when I reread it I visualized each chapter with the historical interest of redrawing the Kefalonia of the time in mind.

So I contacted Louis de Bernières and although I have never made a comic strip, he was very enthusiastic. Thanks to him!
