3 Historical research about Kefalonia landscape from 1940 to 1993

For the adaptation of the book "Captain Corelli's Mandolin" it was necessary to research the landscapes as they were in 1940 and until the earthquake of 1953. There are very few buildings that have survived. Fortunately the history of Kefalonia is richly documented in many books, films and websites. In particular there are many documents on the period of occupation during the Second World War. A precious book among others that can be found in the bookstores of the island.
